6th Annual Fragile X Poker RunJuly 17, 2010Laurel Springs, NC 28644The ride starts and ends at Freeborne's Eatery & Lodge (www.freebornes.com)located at 14300 NC Highway 18 South or just a mere 50 yards off of the BlueRidge Parkway at milepost 248. The 130 mile poker run departs at 10:00 amand will lead you through 3 states via scenic back roads, fun twisties, andsweeping curves including "The Snake", which encompasses 489 curves in a12-mile radius, plus a stop at the Shady Valley Country Store to "pickupsome US 421/Snake swag". The ride fee is $30 per rider or $45 with passengerwhich includes an event t-shirt and cookout. The ride ends with a 50/50drawing, cookout, and charity auction beginning at 4:00 pm. Enjoyrefreshments and live music of the Thunder Valley Band at 5:00 pm and helpour special guest host Mikey rock all night long! This ride benefits theFRAXA Research Foundation.
